Prom 2008 is around the corner and this means that every kid in town is going to be looking to party after the prom dance is over. This web site is designed to give you ideas to meet your after prom party needs and provides many services to make your prom night an unforgettable one. The hottest after prom parties this year are being held at some of New York City’s hottest Nightclubs and Comedy Clubs like, Speed, Shelter, Avalon, Copacabana is now Columbus 72, Webster Hall, Gypsy Tea, The Madison, Irving Plaza, Villa, Deep, Pacha, Taj, Duvet, New York Comedy Club and Broadway Comedy Club. These clubs appeal to different types of personality. For those of you who are a little mellower and are not interested in partying at some nightclub, there are The New York Comedy Clubs.
You don't a need a fake ID to get into these night clubs because these clubs relax their 21-and-over policy during prom season, giving high school grads a chance live it up on their big party night.

NYC After Prom

After Prom at Avalon
Your older siblings might have come to this converted cathedral way back in the nineties when it was called Limelight. This club received a mega makeover, complete with neon lights, a booming sound system, backlit bars, and plenty of VIP rooms. Avalon attracts an outer-borough crowd that dances to house and trance music pumping through the dance floor and side lounge, a.k.a. "The Chapel."

After Prom at Crane Club
According to the A-Group at Horace Mann, Marymount, and Dalton, this former nightspot-turned-private club on the Upper West Side is the place to hold your afterprom. Crane comes with a huge dance floor and bar in the back and a more intimate side lounge with tables and banquettes for those seniors who haven't quite perfected their dance moves.

After Prom at Heaven
Switch partners at this young gay haven. Three floors (named heaven, hell, and purgatory) mean three chances to see young, fit, and shirtless boys and sometimes even girls dancing to bubblegum pop and retro dance hits. There's a different theme every night (Latin Wednesdays, Lesbian Fridays), but Heaven's most fabulous fete is its Saturday night, 18-and-up "Gay College Party" that could easily double as a listening session for every Britney Spears CD made.

If you're not dancing at the prom, there's no way you're dancing at the after prom party so your best bet is to go to a comedy club.
Comic Strip Live
Sharing laughs can be just as intimate as sharing a slow dance—and your palms won't end up as sweaty, either. Credited as the birth place of such famous comedians as Jerry Seinfeld, Chris Rock, Dave Attell, and Eddie Murphy, these days you're more likely to catch an up-and-comer at Comic Strip Live who provides witty one-liners on a VH1 special. The Strip's "Limo to Laughter" prom package includes a commemorative Playbill, free food, and unlimited soda and juice. At the Copacabana you can expect to hear a sexy mix of world wide Latino music featuring Reggeaton, Bachata, Meringue, salsa and Hip Hop all playing across its floors simultaneously. We know you won't hear the same mix play on the same two floors. After Prom at Webster Hall NYC
Formerly known as the Ritz, Webster Hall is a one of NYC's oldest and biggest mega clubs with six separate lounges / rooms across 3 floor. If you're looking to show someone a slice of classic over-the-top NYC nightlife, you can't go wrong.
